Vestiges

2023

Drawing from research on early computer chip manufacturing, Vestiges tells the story of a woman who finds an archive of bizarre photographs and begins to be haunted by its images. The film uses similar formal structures as Chris Marker's La Jeteé, using mostly still images to explore ideas of collective memory and the exploitation of womens’, and in particular women of colors', labor.
